A SPACE MMO IN YOUR BROWSER
One galaxy.
Run by the players in it.
SolFall is a space MMO with real flight, ships that come apart under fire, and an economy where almost everything you can buy was made by another player.
Everyone plays in
the same world.
No instances. No private servers. No seasonal wipe.
Every pilot is flying the same map at the same time. What happens to it stays happened: a wreck is still there when you come back for it, a station somebody built keeps standing, and a shortage in one region raises prices in the next.
- ONE MAPEvery player, one galaxy, no copies of it.
- CHANGES STICKWrecks, stations and cargo stay where they end up.
- NO WIPESThe galaxy is never reset to start it over.
Players make
almost everything.
Ore, plate, guns, hulls. All of it has a maker.
Asteroids are mined by players, the ore is refined by players, and the hull you fly was assembled from those parts by somebody who set the price themselves. Very little enters the galaxy any other way, so when a supply line breaks, everyone feels it.
- MININGOre is cut out of real asteroids, pixel by pixel.
- INDUSTRYRefining and fabrication turn it into parts.
- MARKETSSellers set prices; supply and demand move them.
Most of the galaxy
is still unvisited.
Star systems, belts, nebulae, and whatever is past them.
The map is generated as one continuous galaxy rather than a set of levels, and it is far larger than any one player will see. Settled space is a small part of it. Fly out past the lanes people use and you are looking at systems nobody has been to yet.
- SYSTEMSStars, planets, moons and asteroid belts.
- DEEP SPACEGas formations, derelicts and quiet places.
- THE EDGERegions no one has charted or claimed.
Pick your own
line of work.
There is no quest log telling you what to do next.
You are not given a class or a story to follow. Mine and sell the ore. Refine it instead and sell the plate. Haul freight for people who pay, build ships for people who lose them, or take cargo off pilots who cannot stop you. Most players end up doing several of these.
- MINESlow, steady, and the start of everything else.
- BUILDFabricate hulls, guns and modules to sell.
- FIGHTEscort cargo, defend a claim, or take one.
When a ship dies,
it is gone.
Four civilizations,
and the Swarm.
You choose one when you register. It decides which ports treat you well, what your yards are good at, and who was already your enemy before you arrived.
